Hi,
I faced discrimination in gaming and cosplay venues and conventions for being a deaf disabled male. My voice comes aggressive to some people when we are just deaf and have bad speech. I told venues each time that I am deaf , disabled and to other contestants. They ignore us. It caused an incident at a long Islamic gaming convention ton. I was annoying about being disrespected the last couple years by other contestants and biased judges they had. I was loud and upset do to my hearing.
I was little aggressive after a biased discrimination by one the judges who read a misleading and phobic post about us on socials which the venue knew ahead of time and ignored us. I talked back and argued with them. They banned us at retro con instead of the bully and judge who followed them. We had things cleared up and posts taken down since. We moved on. We been working, doing projects and competing. We are allowed to compete, call out bullying and discrimination.
We left everyone alone and avoid people at venues and contests. We just compete, do work and have fun. We gained support and fans since. I think we still have work todo in the disabled gaming cosplay community. Yes, we look normal in public but I am deaf and disabled. Be over when you see us next time.
We do not support hate, toxic bullying harassment on both sides and getting others removed like sins tried doing to us. We offered peace several times. We moved on since.
Thank You
