Most conventions are boring.

Most conventions are not dedicated to the hobby. They are pretty boring. Contests are not even worth attending. There are too many rules, double standards, sexism, racism and other crap internally. When most of us just want to escape and have fun. I think sci-fi gaming and anime need to stick to that genre. No outer genres because they ruin stuff. I think they need to remove politics, neo politics and segregational like rules and restrictions. It is ruining events and conventions in general. I would just stick to my genre and story if I ran a convention and event. I would not allow other things like comic book or anime that is not related to my story, genre and type.
